Boho Chic
I was really happy with how this bouquet turned out. The bride wanted a boho chic vibe but wanted to stay away from bright colors and from daisies. She wanted something a bit more upscale but that still maintained an earthy vibe and ideally had some hints of natural tones as her dress was tan.
I used "White Mondial " and " Playa Blanca" roses to create the basic rounder shape she wanted. What a love about "White Mondial" is they have a greenish hint on the outer petal and they are a warmer shade of white lending themselves beautifully to this design. "Playa Blanca" Roses are a bit colder in tone but have the same great texture and fullness of garden roses.
I wanted to play with textures so I added white stock which also smells amazing and one of my favorite flowers 'Nigella". "Nigella" is so fun, it adds that light fresh greenery that almost the greens atop fennels. The pods are also fun and add an extra layer of textural fun to the bloom itself .
I added a few Scabiosa pods to add a brownish earthy elements that would tie in the brown ribbon , for greens i used a combination if Israeli Ruscus and Dusty Miller.
