Start 2020 with some extra luck
As 2019 comes to an end it is time to prepare for the new year to come. We reflect on both the good and the challenging moments we faced this year past looking ahead with a glimpse of motivated hope, ready to take on new amazing challenges and invigorating opportunities.
We do so with excitement…but we certainly welcome any luck we can get. I am sure we all have our New Years Eve traditions meant to bring luck in love or on the career front, from eating certain foods, to a specific lucky charm or good luck saying and in our case good luck plants.
1 Palms:
Definitely lucky indoor plants, palms are also great natural dividers due to their size and airy leafy element. They inject a room natural appeal with their breezy and tropical feel. Apart from attracting good energy, palms activate any missing Feng Shui element within a room. Extra bonus, palms remove xylene and formaldehyde from carpeting.
2: Pachira Money Tree:
The Pachira money tree is commonly used in Feng Shui and is believed to bring good luck and attract wealth. Native to Central and South America. According to an ancient legend ,a poor farmer in Taiwan prayed for wealth and found this plant.
Interpreting this discovery as a sign he decided to sell the plants and become rich.
Money trees are often braided together and in order for the luck to come in, one needs to have three to five braided plants. It is advised to steer clear of the number four. Also the leaves must have five or more fingers to be lucky.
3: Jade Plant:
Another plant with round leaves, the jade plant is a door to prosperity and success.
Traditionally it is often gifted to business owner. Jade is a medium-sized plant that thrive in bright light location and is also great for outdoor planting. . It has the ability to attract wealth and success so it can be placed at the entrance of houses to prove favorable to homeowners.
4: Snake Plant
Commonly knows as the mother-in-law’s tongue, the snake plant when placed in an ideal position is deemed to be a plant of good luck as it absorbs the poisonous gases from the air and eliminates the toxins It also exudes strong protective energy and shields the residents from negative Chi.
While this plant is often considered in Feng Shui circles as a bad plant, when it is allocated to a secluded area of a crowded home, it provides a strong positive vibe to the environment. Snake plants also improve indoor air quality by removing the toxins from the air.
5: Rubber Plant:
Rubber plants are especially auspicious when placed in the “Wealth Area” of your home because the round leaves symbolize good fortune, abundance, and wealth.
6 Philodendron :
This plant grow well under natural and artificial light and its heart-shaped leaves represent the Fire element that can add emotion to a dark or cold area or your home.
7: Potted Orchids
The plant of love. They are good omens to attract love, soothe the soul, and deepen friendships.
The ancient Greeks associated orchids with fertility and virility, which makes them a great gift for new parents!
8 English Ivy :
Trailing vines of ivy help soften any “poison arrows” that point at you where you sleep or work.
Ivy removes benzene found in plastics, and helps control formaldehyde from carpets and paint.
9 Peace Lily:
This plant's genus is Spathiphyllum, which is a Latin word that means "peace and prosperity.
This plant grows well under artificial light and produces white flowers, making it ideal for office settings as well as your home.
10 Spider Plant:
This hanging plant filters carbon monoxide, formaldehyde and xylene, especially when placed near a fireplace or wood stove.
