Hand Tied Bouquets
Watching in awe as the florist would just whip up a gorgeous and effortless bouquet is one of my fondest memory of the Saturday afternoons spent leisurely walking around the Piazza with my mom.
The color scheme and flower choice would obviously vary vastly according to the seasons, a lot more than here in Sunny San Diego.
The early springs were always my favorite, you would see #daffodils , #hellebores #narcissus alongside roses, tea roses, stock …and of course very minimal greens.
European hand tied bouquets are in style more round and compact and are characterized by their crisscrossed stem work which allows the bouquet, once tied to stand on its own.
While I am pretty attached to my European designing background I love the fact that floral trends are ever changing keeping my job essentially exciting and new on a daily base.
For these reasons we created some hand tied bouquets that while still inspired by my Italian roots they are a bit more free form and carry a heavy #BohoVibe.
We call these “Artisan Hand Tied Bouquets” which lend themselves very nicely to a more #WildFlower inspired look . I tend to add a bit more greens in this style of bouquets and I try to add some more unique blooms while still maintaing a very rich and elegant look. I think there is a fine line between a wild flower bouquet and a gathering of weeds which I do not want to cross.
Our Life Is Peachy Bouquet is a great example of this style.
Here are a few more examples of our Hand Tied Bouquet collection . All of these bouquets can be ordered online for delivery or pickup. You can also stop by the studio to have a custom bouquet created.
