Dress your house for Spring
As the last rain storm passes through Sunny San Diego I find myself suddenly itching for the spring. I just changed the shop's decor leaving behind the birch containers and the deep bohemian tones of the winter for a lighter and in a way more refreshing palette of light greens, lavender and light blue hues reminiscing of the season to come.
"Le Jardin Parisienne" Perfect height for a dinner table or even a large coffee table this arrangement was inspired by the richness and elegance of french designs. Deep Blue irises, plum orchid blooms, baby blue hydrangeas accented by lavender roses, purple matsumotos, scabies and anemones and hot pink roses.

"Refresh" - This design is a bit smaller that the others represented in this blog so it might not alone fill the entire dinner table...but two just might. The Purple tulips add direction to the arrangement, bright green hypericum add a rich textural element in contrast to the softness of both the hydrangeas and the blooming kale. The lavender roses trie in the arrangement pulling inspiration from the center of the kale , the greysh dusty miller softens the contrast created by the deep purple tulips leading into the delicate lavender carnations.
"San Diego Springtime" Inspired by the cool tones of our gorgeous ocean, and the newly found greenness of our hills that are only seen right after the rainy season, this arrangement if ideal to brighten and dinner settings. The orchid blooms add the richness and the exotic touch, the irises give it a regal strength and the tulips are added for movement. The contrast of both color and textures created by the green and the lavender hydrangeas gift depths to the arrangement while the pale blush and green roses create the element of freshness. Also I love using Curly Willow in clear vases, it gives the arrangement a lighter feel compared to submerged leaves which i felt would definitely a bit too tropical for this.
